Navodaya Vidyala Samiti (NVS) PGT Recruitment 2012 | Application Form


Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) which is body controlled by the Ministry of HRD. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) invitred out applications for the post of Graduate Teachers for the following subjects in English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Biology, History, Geography and Commerce. Pay Scale: The pay scale for PGT jobs in NVS is Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4800/-

Age Limit: 40 years

Educational Qualification details:

a. The candidates should have two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc.Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate Or Should have acquired Master's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

b. Candidates with B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

c. Should have proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English languages.

NVS PGT recruitments 2012 will follow the proper recruitment procedure including recruitment test and interview. Recruitment test eneral aptitude, Language proficiency and content knowledge tests. A total of 240 objective type questions will be asked from the following subjects which includes, General English/ Hindi, General Awareness, General Intelligence and reasoning, Numerical ability, Teaching methodology, concerned subject knowledge. The duration for the written test will of three hours.
